Corporate Governance
We rely heavily on our strong Board of Trustees to help our company be a leader in governance.
Following the TSX guidelines that companies have a majority of unrelated directors, five of our seven trustees –Daniel M. Dickinson, Daniel Milliard, T. Iain Ronald, James J. Forese, and Joseph H. Wright (our Non-Executive Chairman), are unrelated. Keith Carrigan, Vice Chairman & CEO and Mickey Flood, President are the only related trustees.
The Board of Trustees is charged with holding our company to the highest standards of governance. We take this seriously, since we believe that good corporate governance can only enhance unitholder value.
